Welcome to the beautiful city! You will be picked up from the Airport or Railway Station and will be transferred to the hotel so that you can check-in and get freshen up. After freshening up, we will proceed to the famous Rock Garden - the lifetime dream of Mr. Nek Chand, and then Open hand monument - a symbolic structure designed by architect Le Corbusier located in the Capitol Complex of the Indian city of Chandigarh. In the evening, you will visit the Sukhna Lake- a beautiful lake which is a major attraction of Chandigarh. Then you will return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Post early morning check out from the hotel, we will start our journey to Amritsar. Upon arrival we will visit the Wagah Border(India-Pakistan border). After having lunch we will visit the Jallianwala Bagh where on 13 April, 1919 British soldiers opened fire on an unarmed forbidden gathering, killing hundreds of civilians. After visiting the Jallianwala Bagh, we will visit the Golden Temple - a famous Sikh pilgrim place as well as the most important Sikh shrine also known as the Mecca for the Sikhs. Golden Temple is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs. Finally, you can return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
After having a scrumptious breakfast, you will be checking out from the hotel to drive to Chandigarh. Unfortunately, this tour will come to an end and you along with some beautiful memories will be dropped at the Chandigarh Airport / Railway Station for your further journey. Happy Travelling!
